PR #17461 added the `wait` function to `reactivity/async.js` and modified the compiler to generate `$.wait()` calls, but forgot to export it from `index.js`.
This causes a runtime error when using `await` inside `$derived()` with `experimental.async: true`:

In #17105 one line in `update_reaction` was changed that can cause reactivity loss. It checks if the reaction is updated inside of an effect and only then will push to the reactions. The prior version had an additional check to still add to the reactions if there is already at least one reaction on the derived, indicating it is connected. Removing this check fixes#17263 while keeping correctness: a connected derived by definition at least has one reaction and therefore can properly cleanup.

This ensures that an animation does not run when the element is first transitioning in. Else the animation would mess with the transition (overriding its animation basically). Due to our test setup it's not testable but I veryfied it fixes#17181 (tested all reproductions in there)
It's possible that due to how new elements are inserted into the array that `effect.last` is wrong. We need to ensure it is really the last item to keep items properly connected to the graph.

#17176 is a case where many sources are created and then written to (due to Svelte 4 prop mechanics), and our tracing kicked in eagerly. That combined with the excessive depth of the related stack traces slowed things down tremendously.
The fix is simple: Don't record stack traces until we've seen this source get updated for a couple of times. Additionally we now delete the `updates` map after a flush. Previously it was just an ever-growing stack trace map.

When `#traverse_effect_tree` runs, it can execute block effects, which in turn can create effects which are scheduled, which means `queued_root_effects` is now filled again. We didn't take that into account and assumed that in `#commit` we would have no queued root effects. As a result another batch could wrongfully run with the queued root effects of the main batch. That in turn can mean that `skipped_effects` is different on the other batch, leading to some branches not getting traversed into. As a result part of the tree is marked clean while further below batches are still not marked clean. That then breaks reactivity as soon as you schedule an effect in this still-not-clean sub tree, as it will not bubble all the way up to the root, since it comes across a not-clean branch, assuming something was already scheduled.
The fix is simple: Stash the queued root effects before rebasing branches.

This fixes a bug where a derived would still show its old value even after it was indirectly updated again within the same batch. This can for example happen by reading a derived on an effect, then writing to a source in that same effect that makes the derived update, and then read the derived value in a sibling effect - it still shows the old value without the fix.
The fix is to _delete_ the value from batch_values, as it's now the newest value across all batches. In order to not prevent breakage on other batches we have to leave the status of deriveds as-is, i.e. within is_dirty and update_derived we cannot update its status. That might be a bit more inefficient as you now have to traverse the graph for each `get` of that derived (it's a bit like they are all disconnected) but we can always optimize that later if need be.
Another advantage of this fix is that we can get rid of duplicate logic we had to add about unmarking and reconnecting deriveds, because that logic was only needed for the case where deriveds are read after they are updated, which now no longer hits that if-branch

Not all batches will flush right after being activated, some will be activated and then `get` is called on a signal. In that case the value was wrong because we did not apply the changes of that batch. By doing `this.apply()` during `activate()` we ensure we do, which fixes (among other things, likely) a forking bug where old values where sneaking in.

The "is this a transparent effect we can ignore" logic for determining whether or not to play a local transition didn't account for pruned block effects. This fix marks the child branch as transparent if the block effect was, and during traversal then checks if the branch is the child of a block - if not that means it's the child of a pruned block effect.

We could've used a Set on mark_reactions which would've been simpler to reason about, alas it was performing consistenly worse on the kairo_mux_unowned / kairo_mux_owned benchmarks (it kinda makes sense generally, creating and filling a set is more expensive than juggling flags).
Closes#16658, which showcases are particularly gnarly signal graph where many deriveds point to the same deriveds, where we would be traversing the same reactions over and over if we didn't do this.
I also added a similar measure (this time a set/map is unavoidable/makes more sense) for mark_effects, hopefully this helps for #16990
at present we only call batch.increment() when something async happens if we're not inside a pending boundary, but that's incorrect — it means that a batch is committed before everything resolves. When work inside a pending boundary does resolve, the batch becomes a zombie.
At the same time, we don't handle effects inside pending boundaries correctly. They should be deferred until the boundary (and all its parents) are ready.
This PR attempts to fix that — during traversal, when we exit a pending boundary, any effects that were collected get deferred until the next flush. We also distinguish between batch.#pending (any ongoing async work) and batch.#blocking_pending (any async work that should prevent effects outside pending boundaries from being flushed).

Since #16866, when an async effect runs multiple times, we rebase older batches and rerun those effects. quick follow-up to #16944
Resetting a map entry does not change its position in the map when iterating. We need to make sure that reset makes that batch jump "to the front" for the "reject all stale batches" logic below. Edge case for which I can't come up with a test case but it _is_ a possibility.
Since #16866, when an async effect runs multiple times, we rebase older batches and rerun those effects. This can have unintended consequences: In a case where an async effect only depends on a single source, and that single source was updated in a later batch, we know that we don't need to / should not rerun the older batch.
This PR makes it so: We collect all the sources of older batches that are not part of the current batch that just committed, and then only mark those async effects as dirty which depend on one of those other sources. Fixes the bug I noticed while working on #16935

When a stale promise is rejected in `async_derived`, and the promise eventually resolves, `d.resolve` will be noop and `d.promise.then(handler, ...)` will never run. That in turns means any restored context (via `(await save(..))()`) will never be unset. We have to handle this case and unset the context to prevent errors such as false-positive state mutation errors

Also some explanation what the bug was:
1. async batch kicks off
2. outer async work succeeds, still something pending, so doesn't do anything for now
3. something unrelated writes to a signal (in the remote functions case it's the query writing to loading, raw etc), which creates a new batch
4. new batch executes. since there are multiple batches it takes the previous value which means if block is still alive. commits that, since no async work from the perspective of this branch
5. inner async work succeeds. now the batch has zero pending async work so it can flush. But the if block is no longer dirty since it was done by the other batch already -> never undos the other work
#16912 fixes it by still traversing the tree which means the if block deletion is scheduled to commit later, which it then does
We have an each block optimization that omits the comment when the each block is the sole child of an element. This optimization clashes with async which wants to skip ahead to the sibling closing comment.
For now we therefore remove that optimization when the each block is async. In the long run we should instead optimize _all_ cases where _any_ block is the sole child of an element, in both async and sync mode, consistently.

Race them against each other - in almost all cases requestAnimationFrame will fire first, but e.g. in case the window is not focused or a view transition happens, requestAnimationFrame will be delayed and setTimeout helps us resolve fast enough in that case

As part of https://github.com/sveltejs/kit/pull/14481 we discovered that deriveds created within reactions and reading from them in that same reaction is actually useful in some cases, as such a use case we couldn't imagine yet in #15564 has appeared.
We think it's ultimately better to rerun on those cases, so we're going to make this change in async mode (that way the behavior doesn't change unless you have enabled the experimental flag)

#16773 added a test with _expected.html to a wrong suit, so it was ignored, and this allowed to slip in a new bug of printing the falsy hidden attribute as hidden (shortened enabled form).
That fix wasn't released yet, so no changeset.

Consolidates our scheduling system that had diverged into two - queue_micro_task and Batch.ensure-queues and resolves some edge case race conditions related to flushSync along the way.

When an async derived already has a previous promise that is still pending, we were not accessing the `then` property of the new promise. If that property access causes signals to be read, that meant that those dependencies were lost and as such the derived wouldn't rerun anymore when it should. The fix is to make sure to always access the thennable.

This PR introduces a check for builtin custom elements (is attribute) inside the set_custom_element_data helper in order to correctly set properties that have a setter.
Implemented by reusing the `async_body` function inside `Fragment.js`. Also removes the ability to reference a `{@const ...}` of an implicit child inside a boundary pending/failed snippet:
- existing duplication of consts can have unintended side effects, e.g. async consts would unexpectedly called multiple times
- what if a const is the reason for the failure of a boundary, but is then referenced in the failed snippet?
- what if an async const is referenced in a pending snippet? deadlock
- inconsistent with how it behaves for components where this already does not work
Implemented via the experimental flag so the behavior change only applies there as this is a breaking change strictly speaking. Also added a compiler error for this.
